BIO HOTEL COLOMBIA: Bio hotel in Colombia apply new technologies and appropriate practices around sustainability. The hotel is designed from beginning to end with the most standards of sustainable construction.
BOMBOM / PRINCIPE ISLAND: invest in recycling projects to reduce the usage of plastic, create awareness for the reduction and waste reuse, make portable water available. The concept behind the project is based on the exchange of 50 plastic bottles for a refillable one in stainless steel, designated as the “Biosphere bottle” which can be refilled at potable water dispensers made available for that purpose.
Other great examples of sustainable tourism in 2017 include Werfenweng in Austria, Feynan Ecolodge, Nautilus Lanzarote and The Fuerte Hoteles.
