A lot of experts say that it is not possible for the sun to become a neutron star. It is true that the sun is big. It is so big that there are different planets that revolve around it but it does not have the type of mass that is considered to be the main requirement before a dying star becomes a neutron star.

According to some reports, the sun is expected to become a white dwarf once it starts to experience its end years. When the sun becomes a white dwarf, the temperature of the star will become relatively cooler. The changes in the sun might make some changes with how people usually live their lives.
