Ratio IQ is most often used to describe the intelligence of adults

The ratio IQ score is used to describe the intelligence levels of children, not adults. The deviation IQ score was created to give a more accurate picture of adult intelligence. This score compares an adults test score to the average test score of those in the same age group and is multiplied by 100. For both types of score, the mean is 100, that is, 100 is the score of the largest percentage of test-takers.*##**##*
