Neptune is known to be the only planet that has inner and outer moons. It has 13 moons all in all. This is more than the moons that can be found in most planets in the solar system. The moons come in various sizes the biggest of which is Triton. This is large enough that it was discovered shortly after Neptune became a revelation.

Triton is known to be special because it has a retrograde orbit. If in case you do not know what this means, this means that it has an orbit that is different from the direction of its planet’s orbit. All of the Neptunian moons are special in their own ways.
