The Walking Dead begins with the police officer waking up from a coma and realizing that the apocalypse has taken place. He realizes that he is living among zombies. These zombies are called walkers and that is why this television series is called The Walking Dead. The main character in the show is Rick Grimes who is played by Andrew Lincoln. Another policeman in the show is Shane Walsh who is played by Jon Bernthal.
He is considered the villain to Rick. Rick’s wife is Lori and she gets cozy with Shane. These characters are considered survivors. Like many people, I enjoy watching the main character or protagonist and hate the villain. So, my favorite character in The Walking Dead is Rick Grimes.
