A cosmetologist makes people look better. They do this by cutting, cleaning and fixing the person’s hair, doing their nails and making their skin look better. Most cosmetologists must rely on word of mouth to get clients.

This means that they may advertise a little for their business, but people will speak highly of their work so that others will go to their business. It is expected for most cosmetologists to rely upon people to ask for their services. Therefore, they usually do not turn people away from their business.

However, there are such occasions that they must turn a client away. That is because this person has an infectious disease. One disease is called tinea capitis. Since other people can get this disease, it is best for these customers to be turned away for the safety of the other patrons.
