How is it so?

Egg spinning competition: You are a junior detective investigating a case. Boys at an apartment complain that every day, they have an egg spinning competition with only raw eggs, and every day one particular boy wins. The boys want you to find out how. You are observing the boy spinning an egg when suddenly it drops to the floor. The apartment clerk casually hands him a broom to clean it up, as if it happens every day. You now know why the boy always wins the daily competition.

Well from what I know the raw eggs don't spin that much so that they would fall off the table. Most likely they spin for 5-10 seconds and that's all. If the clerk gave him a broom to clean up the mess then we can say it's hardboiled, but if the egg was raw and the kid would've intentionally throw the egg over the edge of the table, spinning, of course it would last a lil bit more since the other ones would stop until the kid's egg would reach the floor. Also apparently if you just drop the hard boiled egg on the floor it doesn't make that much of a mess like a raw one and his clerk wouldn't give him a broom unless it was way too mesy. The broom? Since the egg broken it's better to take it from the floor with a broom, among with its shell than using a mop and ruining the whole floor.

The clerk handed the boy a broom, so the egg the boy was spinning must have been hard-boiled.
