There has been a lot of controversy about google stealing your personal information. The fact is that google has spiders that crawl through the many sites looking for relevant information which it stores or steals to put into its database.
Although some sites give you control over your info, whether or not you want to allow google to display your information on its page, chances are that google will steal your information and link users who search for you to you. This had to some measures to protect your privacy but nothing has been done to completely prevent google from stealing your info.
