Testicular cancer is the cancer of the testes. Cancer can take place in many different organs including the lungs, breasts, or throat. When this happens, the patient will usually need to go through getting radiation or chemotherapy. There are other forms of treatment besides these, but these are the main ones.
The purpose of these treatments is to get rid of the cancer. However, there are things that should be done to make sure that the cancer doesn’t form in the first place or that it doesn’t grow. Women can do self-checks on their breasts to see if there are any lumps.
A nurse usually a male nurse will perform a testicular self-examination to determine if there are any lumps in the testes. To do this, it is best to examine after the patient takes a shower.

The testicular-self examination is recommended monthly after a warm shower or bath when the scrotal skin is relaxed. The client should stand to examine the testicles. Using both hands. with the fingers under the scrotum and the thumbs on top. the client should gently roll the testicles. feeling for any lumps.
