When you see anybody using avocado to represent the Earth, it is simply because the layers of avocado give a perfect explanation of the layers of the Earth. We use avocado to represent the entire Earth because it is something everybody can relate with.

For instance, the crust of the Earth is like the skin of the avocado. The meat of the avocado (the edible part of the fruit) represents the mantle. Also, the seed of the avocado represents the core of the Earth.

The thickness of the layers of avocado is similar to that of the Earth, except for the fact that the core of the Earth is smaller than the seed of the avocado. However, this doesn't suggest that the Earth and the avocado are of the same size. The thinnest part of the layers of the Earth is the crust (skin of avocado), while the thickest layer is the mantle.

The correct answer to this question is the layers. The Earth and avocado are similar to one another due to the layers that each of them. Both the Earth and avocados have solid cores. With the avocado, the core of it is the stone.

Along with that, the avocado has skin. The skin of the avocado is similar to the thin crust that is on Earth.

Then, there is the flesh of the avocado. The flesh of the avocado is similar to the Earth's molten mantel. All of the layers of Earth have a corresponding layer that the avocado has one similar to.

The earth is usually compared to the avocado, probably because they have different available layers. The avocado will have a thin layer of skin, while the edible part of this vegetable will be the thickest layer, which is also the same for the earth, wherein the mantle is considered to be the thickest layer.

The seed of the avocado can be found in the middle, which is also the same for the earth, wherein the middle portion will be called the core. Another similarity is the type of core that they have. The core of the earth and the seed of the avocado will have very thick middle cores.
