Newt Scamander is known to be one of the chosen ones but he is chosen for a different path than Harry Potter. Newt is known to be dedicated and loyal and although he gets angry from time to time, he was able to take everything in a level-headed manner. With Harry, he was chosen and forced to do what he was supposed to do. With Newt, he made an effort to rise to the occasion.

Newt is important because it shows that there are always differences between those that are chosen. There will be differences in their beliefs, their strengths, and weaknesses. Anyone can become great if they would choose to be great.
