There are a lot of bands that are considered to be emo. My Chemical Romance is a perfect example of modern-day emo. They were able to inspire a lot of people through the songs that they have played. Some say that they are the last modern emo band that matters. There are other emo bands that became popular before them such as Tokio Hotel, Mayday Parade, Dead Poetic, Dashboard Confessional, Cobra Starship, and so much more.
If you have always loved emo songs and emo bands, you are probably familiar with all of the bands that are mentioned above. They may have lessened but you can still listen to the songs that they produced before.
