The solution set for the two lines in the graph is (-2 and 1) where x is -2 and y are =1.
The problem above is an example of linear equations. The solution to the system of linear equation is where the two lines intersect.

From the graph above, we can see that the two lines intersect at a point where y is +1 and x is – 2. On the x-axis, the numbers left side is considered written with a negative sign and the right side with positive. On the y-axis, figures above the point where the lines meet are considered positive, and figures below the point are considered negative.
