Both cheetahs and lions belong to the same family of cats. Cheetahs are known for running fast. Lions are known for being the king of the forest. Both cheetahs and lions live in the same area which is the savannah. Other similarities between the cheetahs and the lions are that they both have sharp teeth and are known for tearing apart animals for their food.

Many animals must co-exist even though one type of animal is the prey of another animal. The cheetah is known for being a predator of lions even though lions are usually larger than cheetahs. This is unusual because usually predators are larger than their prey. Lions like other prey must be observant and watch out for their predators.
