What does philanthropy stand for? This means a sort of love for humanity in general. There are some people who are considered to be philanthropists because of the different programs that they have created that will benefit humankind.

The APA, also known as the American Psychiatric Association has already formulated different programs that will be effective for their needs. Some of the initiatives that are available include the following: Boy Scouts of America, Head Start, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America, and March of Dimes.

These are initiatives that are meant to make people start to care about the nation in general. At the same time, it can help people realize what the nation can become in the future.
