How many people are in the world?

At one point, the world was waiting for the world to have a population of six billion. That was the turning point in the past few decades. However, now the tables are turned and there over 7.5 billion people living in the world. The number continues to grow because more people are born than die within a day.

The rate that this takes place is significantly faster with births than those that die. Currently, today after looking at a website with the numbers of population in the world, those that are born and those that have died, the number of deaths today is about 138 thousand, but the number of births is around 335 thousand. Even though the birth count is higher it is also increasing faster.
