Malnutrition cannot exactly be called a disorder. Rather, it is a sort of condition that may affect the body as a whole. There are different reasons why people may become malnourished but the main reason for this is because the body is unable to get enough nutrients from food to sustain the various processes that the body needs to do.

Some are malnourished because they do not eat the right food. There are some who are malnourished because they do not have any food to eat at all. There are also others who are suffering from other conditions that are preventing them to get the nutrients from the food that they eat. The main reason for malnutrition should be pinpointed so that it can be resolved.
