Low blood sugar or hypoglycemia can sometimes cause people to feel faint. There are times when people actually lose consciousness even for a certain while. This means that their bodies do not have enough sugar anymore in order to produce the energy they need. There are certain things that you can do to deal with this.

The first thing that you have to do is to find a fast-acting carbohydrate. You can eat some candies, drink carbonated drinks, or even donuts. Once you are able to feel better, you may want to take your prescribed medications. If you do not have any yet, this is something that you need to tell your doctor about immediately.
