Potassium is known to be a chemical element that has the symbol K. This element has a chemical number of 19. There are a lot of people who do not realize just how important potassium ions are. There are potassium ions that are very important for the living cells of the body.

Those who suffer from potassium deficiency might start noticing the events. Those who have too much of it may result to abnormal heart rhythm. It is best that people will get potassium from healthy sources such as various types of fruits and vegetables. There are some fertilizers that come with potassium.
