Imperialism is positive for imperialists. It gave them a new market, a new labor force, and a fresh supply of raw materials. The desire for Europe to colonize weaker countries resulted in the improvement of education and sanitation in those colonized countries.
Education and literacy rates improved in countries such as Africa and India. In both countries, schools and hospitals were built, and factories were set up, which increased job opportunities. Unemployment declined, and people in those regions were able to integrate things such as technology into their lifestyle.
