The mysterious figure who hijacked a Boeing 727 aircraft in 1971 and took off with the ransom money has been rumored actually to be a man from San Diego named Robert Rackstraw. There was also another rumor that Cooper's real name was Bobby first, and then Barb Dayton.
This person had a gender reassignment surgery in December 1969. However, it was rumored that the actual hijacker was originally from Tacoma Washington, which has been named as being one of the most livable states in the United States. He would have been a fool to be from the area and have committed that crime.
