The correct answer to this question is Defining what is right and wrong for an individual or a community. In life, there are guidelines that we all abide by or at least attempt to follow. Those guidelines are morals. Most of the morals that people follow are from a religious standpoint. For example, Christians follow word of God on what to do in life.

That word of God is the Bible. In the Bible, there are 10 Commandments, such as "Thou shall not kill" and "Thou shall honor their mother and father". These commandments are vital to their way of life and help Christians decide right from wrong. The same goes for Muslims who follow the word from the Koran.
