Many people criticize “Family Guy” because it can be crude and portray behaviors that are politically and morally incorrect. In fact, over forty of the show’s episodes have been included on the Parents Television Council’s (PTC) publicized list of the "worst prime-time shows for family viewing".
The PTC has also filed numerous formal complaints with the Federal Trade Commission. And, the show has also been the subject of many other complaints and has been criticized for being anti-semitic, anti-Catholic and for making fun of lesbian and gay people and people with disabilities.
