The animated TV series “Family Guy” aired its first episode in 1998. Since then there have been sixteen complete seasons through May 2018, totaling 310 episodes. A seventeenth season will be televised starting in September 2018. There are seven episodes scheduled so far for season seventeen. I don’t understand why but the number of episodes per season has varied from eight episodes in season one to thirty episodes in season four.
There were 4 seasons with eighteen episodes, three seasons with twenty and twenty-one episodes each. There were two seasons with twenty-two episodes, and one season each with sixteen and twenty-three episodes.
