Since the debut of Spongebob Squarepants, the show has garnered a number of nominations and awards. The show has been nominated in Annie Awards, British Academy Children’s Award, Primetime Emmy Awards, Daytime Emmy Awards, Golden Reel Awards, Kids’ Choice Awards, International Kids’ Choice Awards, and many more. All in all the show has been nominated 127 times in television and 16 nominations in the movies.
It has won 75 awards all in all. Most of these awards are from the television episodes and only 2 from the movies. Not only the animation was awarded but its voice actors as well. It will not be a shock if Spongebob will still be awarded in the future.
