Take note that black and white television is still not completely gone. There are some people who have kept their black and white television sets in good working order. They use it whenever they feel nostalgic about how much the world has changed. Back in the year 1953, people were starting to inject some color into the shows that are being presented on television.
In the mid-60s, color was completely provided so people can see almost the actual color of the items that the people used in the movies. The change from black and white to color is actually gradual. There were a lot of issues that people encountered before the colored images became frequent and more common than the black and white version.
