The IP address is known to have two important functions. The first function is that it will be the identifier. It allows people to be traced through their IP addresses. This explains why there are some hackers that are very careful in covering their tracks because they know that an IP expert can have them traced.

The second function of this IP address is to send and receive different information from other computers in a given network. This can be helpful especially in companies wherein the different users are sharing one IP address. There are different people who can share the information that they need easily.
