Can a person with lung cancer ever be cured?

There are a lot of people who are aware that lung cancer is one of the most common types of cancer. If in case they would be diagnosed with it, they want to know if they would ever get cured. Those who discover this condition during its early stages will have a higher chance of getting healed as compared to those who discover their cancer in its more advanced stages.

There are different treatments that are available for lung cancer patients but some people do not go through with it because they feel that it is too expensive. One of the problems with lung cancer is that this type of cancer cannot be removed by surgery alone. Those who are diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer are normally expected to live up to 4 months without any treatment and up to a year with proper treatment.

Take note that getting treatment does not mean that the person will get cured. Those who would discover lung cancer in its early stages have a higher chance of recovery. Getting checked is a must to increase chances of survival.
