If your brain is not functioning properly, your mental health might get affected. When you are mentally weak, your emotions will become uncontrollable. The anger, pain, depression will increase. So, along with physical health, mental health should also be taken care of. Keeping yourself mentally stable, yoga, exercise, etc. will help to stay mentally fit.

There is a relation between mental health and emotions. The mind is in control of both. If someone has mental disorder the emotions will not be in order too.

Imagine someone with schizophrenia or depression, they are mentally unstable and that's how their emotions will be. They can be happy now and sad the next minutes. So therefore, mental health and emotions are related.

A lot of people fail to realize that our minds are responsible for a lot of things that we do. This includes handling our emotions. When someone is mentally unstable, he would be unable to handle his emotions too. He may become too aggressive over the slightest things.

He may also start to feel sad even though he does not know the reason why he is feeling sad. When someone is mentally unstable, he would be unable to relate to other people. He may withdraw or hurt the people that he loves. The mind is truly a terrible thing to lose. It should be kept healthy at all times so that dealing with other people will be easier.
