The origin of this saying dates back centuries. There is no exact date or name in history that is accredited with creating this saying. However, since its invention, many people have taken advantage of it. There are films created with the phrase as the title. Many add agencies use the idea to portray intriguing advertisements. The significance of the phrase is used in multiple places.

However, recently, men raised voice against using this phrase. They say that stereotypes males and is a way of oppressing females, making them understand that men cannot be changed. Nevertheless, the phrase is still spotted among the community as well as in the media.
