The connective tissue is known to be any tissue that is in charge of connecting, supporting, and binding the different organs and the other tissues. There are only a few cells that can be found here and they are not tightly packed. Connective tissues are usually made out of collagen, some other fibers like reticular fibers, elastic fibers, elastic tissues, and so much more.

Take note that there are different types of connective tissues that are available depending on the organ or the other tissues that are being connected. There are some people who suffer from mixed connective tissue disease and this should be addressed immediately.

Connective tissue consists of cells and extracellular fibers in a ground substance and tissue fluid. There is generally abundant extracellular space in connective tissue; the cells are not tightly packed.
