There are many people who do not like bees because they sting. Whenever they see a bee, they run away from them. However, there are many reasons that bees should be around. It would be terrible if bees went extinct. There are specific functions for certain bees. Many bees pollinate many of the crops. If these crops were not pollinated, then there would be fewer crops growing to produce food for people all over the world.

Bees play an important part in agriculture and feeding the world. They also produce honey. If honey bees were extinct with the rest of the bee population, then the likelihood of getting honey would be small. Then as a result, farmers and other workers would lose their jobs.

The idea of bees going extinct has been spoken about for a number of years. This is deeply bothersome because bees are pollinators, ensuring that crops and other plants continue growing. To paraphrase Albert Einstein, if the bees die, humans have about 4 years to live.

Modern science has agreed with his hypothesis, because plants would quickly die. This would mean very little grown food and probably even less meat because there would be nothing for cows, chickens, pigs, or any other livestock to eat. Luckily, there are hundreds of species of bees, across almost every continent. It is unlikely the human race would kill all of them—but this doesn't mean it's impossible.
