How many kingdoms are there in the most current tree of life?

There may be some changes with the tree of life but right now, the current tree of life comes with five kingdoms. This means that the different living organisms that we can find in the world right now are separated into five namely: Monera, Protista, Fungi, Plantae, and Animalia.

One of the reasons why the different kingdoms are created is because of the differences that are needed in the nutrition of the different animals. For example, those that are under the kingdom Plantae would need multicellular autotrophs which means that it will be very different from those that are from kingdom fungi that are multicellular saprotrophs.
