Much of the Amazon has been charted, covering parts of Brazil, Colombia, Bolivia, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador and parts of many other South American countries. Over 60% of the forest is located in Brazil. The Amazon river is the second largest river in the world.

However, the Amazon has not been fully discovered because it is very huge, it is about 5 million square kilometers and the green canopies have made it uneasy to penetrate the forest. Many biologists and scientists are working tirelessly to study the animals, plants and the habitat has a whole.
