It starts on the evening mass of Holy Thursday, then it continues on the celebration of the Lords Passion on Good Friday, reaches its highest point on the Easter Vigil, the celebration of the Lords resurrection and ends on the evening prayer of Easter Sunday.

The correct answer to this question is Christmas Triduum. Other names for this observation include Paschal Triduum, Easter Triduum, and Sacred Triduum. This observation lasts for three days. There are many types of it, which include liturgical Paschal Triduum. It lasts for three days, starting on Maundy Thursday and ending on Easter Sunday.

The purpose is to celebrate the last three days that Jesus lived. On the first day, a mass occurs, which is the Mass of the Lord's Supper. It institutes the priesthood. Then, there is Good Friday, where fasting and abstinence occur. The fasting occurs onto Sunday, where then a vigil occurs.
