The World Wide Web Consortium. Led by the inventor of the Web, Tim Berners-Lee, as well as the CEO, Jeffrey Jaffe, the World Wide Web Consortium is an international committe, where a full-time staff, the public, and its member organizations all work together to develop the standards for the Web.

Their goal is to lead the Web to its full potential through developing different protocols and guidelines to ensure the Web's long-term growth. Their visions is that the Web requires participation, the sharing of knowledge, and thus building trust on a global level. The World Wide Web Consortium is funded through member dues, research grants, and monetary and equiptment donations.
