The correct answer to this question is a red squiggly underline under the word "write". Used in this context, the correct spelling of the word "write" would instead be right. When using spell check with word processor software, such as Microsoft Word, when a word is misused, a req squiggly line will appear beneath the misspelled word to indicate an error.

Often, you may right click on the underline word for suggested spelling changes. Under the spell check menu the proper word "right" would appear. The red squiggly line is an error indicator to assist in producing an error-free document.
