The answer to this question is CD-ROM. Why is this the answer? You need to know what optical memory means. This is a type of storage wherein the data will be stored in a sort of pattern. The pattern can be read with the use of light. The most common type of light that is used for this is laser light which can be shined on the CD ROM so that it will start playing the data that has been stored in it.

There are different types of data that can be stored on the CD. Some would place as many documents that they can in it. Some would also place songs. It can take about 10 to 11 songs. Some would also place pictures. The capacity of the CD may differ from one CD to another.
