There are multiple famous performers with Quincy as a first name. Perhaps the most famous is Quincy Jones, born in 1933 and famous for being a film producer, record producer, composer, and musician. His career is long and honored, with 80 Grammy Award nominations, 28 Grammys won, and a Grammy Legend Award received in 1992.
Starting his career in the 1950s as a jazz arranger and conductor, Jones went on to additional notoriety by co-producing (with Michael Jackson) Jackson's albums Off The Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), and Bad (1987). Jones was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
