The correct answer to this question is B, Never permissible, no matter what the circumstances. A 1968 letter called Humanae Vitae, which stands for Human Life, states that contraception should not be used and it is wrong to do so. This includes condoms, sterilization, and withdrawal., to name a few.

Pope Paul VI wrote this letter. Catholics view contraception as wrong because they view it is an attempt to control God's well, and it violates the build of God's human race. They also view sex as a gift from God and the end of sex is procreation, which should not be abused.
