Who is the smartest person you know personally? Why?

Personally, the smartest person that I have ever known was a classmate back in high school. There are people who are smart, and then there are people who are not so smart yet they work really hard due to which they seem intelligent. This person that I knew back in high school was not only smart but also very hard working.

This turned him into a person that which no one can match both in general arguments and in studies. I knew that if I ever had to be academically distinct, this guy would be my biggest inspiration to be so.
