If I was a policeman I probably did not get into this job for the money to begin with. Everyone knows that police officers and other public officials and people who serve the community make very little money. That means that they got into this job for other reasons. They may have taken the job as a policeman in order to help people.
That is why it is easy to say that I would not take a bribe even if those are for a large amount of money because that is not why I took the job. Some people may feel that it would be difficult to not take a bribe for $1,000,000 but you would have to believe that you would get caught.
