NYPD stands for the New York police department. This is a very large police department and it is probably the largest police department in the country. This is because they are the police department for one of the largest cities in the United States. New York City and other large cities in the United States are known for having high crime rates.
So the New York police department has a hard job. Some people do not trust police officers because they feel that they do things unfairly. It is hard to know whether to trust a certain police department if you’ve never lived in that city. I don’t believe that you can honestly say that you can or can’t trust a police department if you have never been there.
