The big difference between B2B and B2C e-commerce is the customers to whom you are trying to reach so the marketing approaches and advertising media used are completely different. For example, with B2C marketing, your customers are general consumers so you might advertise your new cookware in a cooking magazine. Consumers see the new cookware and they want it so they buy it, assuming the price is reasonable.

If you wanted to market your new cookware instead to hospitals, schools, or restaurants, you would want to emphasize the value, service and trust you place behind your product and you might attend trade shows to demonstrate your product.
