It is not at all easy to get an investor to fund a startup. Most companies are started with small investments from friends and family members. Even then, you have to have a well thought out idea and a very thorough business plan. You can try to attract investors by meeting with and/or sending your business plan around to investment bankers or so called angel investors.
But, it will still likely take a long time to get enough financing to start your business, unless you have a terrific new product or service idea. Less traditional ways these days might be to consider appearing on Shark Tank or try the free fundraising site called GoFundMe.
