Drafting is helpful, but there are ways to being accepted to a team and starting a professional baseball career. It may be difficult, but you would have to train and possibly get trained by other coaches or professionals. Then beginning in lower levels of baseball leagues might be a good start. Then see if you can move up in the ranks. It does seem that the key way to starting a baseball career is due to being drafted.

I wouldn’t give up, but I would know that at this time during my younger years, I should give it everything I have and try to get recruited by talent scouts. After a few years, I would reconsider if you aren’t going anywhere.
