If I was forced to be part of a video game, I would certainly select one that does not involve violence. I would pick either candy crush for the candy or I would pick Super Mario Brothers. Even though there is a risk in Super Mario Brothers, I am most familiar with that video game. I think it would be important to select a video game that you have experienced and practiced.
Therefore, there is a greater chance that you would make it to the end. If not, you do not know what to expect. Then you might turn the corner and face something bad. You would also know the shortcuts if you were trapped in a video game that you knew very well.
