In many dramas and other genres of movies, usually there is a happy ending. This means that the good guy wins in the end. However, there are some movies where the bad guy or villain wins in the end. This is not normal, but it does happen in movies. In The Silence of the Lambs, a crazy man who is brilliant is addressed by the young FBI agent about a serial killer.
This crazy man is called Hannibal Lector and he is imprisoned for the majority of the film. However, near the end of the movie, Lector is able to escape and he kills a few police officers and others and is able to completely escape without getting caught. He ends up calling the FBI agent.
