Household chores should be divided by choice. Almost no one likes to do chores. But, if you can’t afford a housekeeper, then try to pick the chores that you don’t mind doing. For example, you might like to vacuum and sweep but hate to do dishes. You might like to put the laundry in the washer and dryer, but you hate folding the clothes and putting them away.
You should avoid doing the chores that are typically thought of as men’s work or woman’s work. Many woman like to be outside mowing the lawn, weeding the garden, or watering the lawn. Talk to each other and you’ll be able to work something out that will make you both happier.
