I would recommend reading the autobiography of Nelson Mandela, entitled Long Walk to Freedom. Nelson Mandela was the president of South Africa after a long fight against apartheid in South Africa. His autobiography tells the story not only of his own life struggles but also the struggles of others fighting apartheid.

Reading this book will give you an insight into the history of South Africa. It will also inspire you to fight for what is right no matter the consequences. Nelson Mandela spent a good part of his life imprisoned for fighting for what was right, but he was never bitter towards those who put him in prison in the first place. He sacrificed revenge for the good of his country.
